Oh my gosh, the last post I posted on this blog was over a year ago! I promised to be brutally honest here as if no one was reading it, and right now that's probably the case anyway. :)
Today was a heavy day. If I'm honest this past semester has been blech. I'm involved and responsible for WAY to many things and havent been doing my best with time management. Plus it seems like the stories of the kids I work with are so dismal. They see no hope or buck the system of the FREEDOM that is faith in exchange for a life sucking existence. Sometimes its so frustrating!! I just want to shake them and say WAKE UP!!! Not because I'm being rude or I myself have it figured out, but because they are still sleeping through THIS world and not alive and awake in the life intended for them. It's for that I am concerned. Not for the choices they make, but for the heart that is behind it. I'm desperate for them to have the scales fall from their eyes. I'm SO anxious for them to know this life I know. Even when I feel distant, I'm still free of the slavery of this world!!!
